Allie Smitherman, our beloved mother and grandmother, passed away Friday, Jan. 11, 2007, at the age of 80.
Celebration of life: 11 a.m. Monday in Brown, Owens & Brumley's Joe B. Brown Memorial Chapel. Visitation: The family will receive friends 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Allie was born Jan. 31, 1927, to the late William and Nettie Evans in Bearden, Ark.
Allie was preceded in death by her loving husband of 25 years, Clayton Smitherman, in 1976.
Survivors: Son, Ronnie Smitherman and wife, Gayle, of Fort Worth; daughter, Dana Smitherman and husband, Sam, of Joshua; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
