Smitherman, who died Sunday morning at 4 o'clock at her home at East
Bend, will be held at the Baltimore Methodist Church. Yadkin County,

Mrs. Smitherman, who was 67 years old, is survived by her hus- band, one daughter, Mrs. Frank Joyner, of Mooresville, Ind.: one son,. Charles E. Smitherman, of Pensacola, Fla.; one sister. Mrs. A. M. Smitherman, of Dinwiddie, Va., and two brothers. George and Charlle Nicholson, of East Bend.
