Funeral services for Mrs. Roy
C.Smitherman, 60, Centreville, will be held from the Antioch Baptist
Church at three p.m. Sunday, Rev. Judson R. Martin, of Uniontown,
officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery.
Mrs. Smitherman died in a Selma hospital on Friday
The survivors include the husband, Roy C. Smitherman; three daughters, Miss Essie Mae Smitheman, Dothan: Miss Joy Smitherman, Centreville; and Mrs Aubrey Butts, Baltimore, Md.; two sons. Orland Smitherman and Roy Lynn Smitherman, both of Oak Ridge, Tenn.; three grand-daughters, Clara and Eajo Smitherman, of Oak Ridge and Sharon Butts, of Baltimore.; three sisters. Mrs. Elizabeth Eady of Helena, Ala., Mrs. Allene McCrory of Lawley, Ala., and Mrs. Mae Bradshaw of Birmingham; and three brothers. Mardis, Gordon and Morgan Wallace, all of Birmingham.
