Funeral service for Dorothy Q
Smitherman, 75, Daytona Beach, who died Sunday July 18, 1999, will be 2
p.m. Thursday, July 22, at Bellevue-Cedar Hill Funeral Home with the
Rev. Scott Harlow officiating. Calling hours will be noon until service
time Thursday.
Mrs. Smitherman was born in Birmingham, Ala., and moved to Daytona Beach in 1956 from her birthplace. She was a member of Eastern Star and the First Baptist Church in Daytona Beach. She was also a volunteer for the church and enjoyed dancing.
She is survived by one son, William Smitherman, Daytona Beach; one stepdaughter, Diane Mowery, Lincoln, Ala.; one brother, George Quinn, Birmingham; two sisters, Bobbie Quinn and Helen Houts, both of Birmingham; and three grandchildren.
