TROY Mrs. Elizabeth Tomlinson
Smitherman, 82, of 206 N. Russell St. Died Tuesday in Charlotte
Memorial Hospital after several weeks of illness. She was a native of
Montgomery County, a charter member of the Mothers Club of Troy.
Funeral will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Trinity United Methodist Church, where she was a member, with the Rev. Paul W. Boone officiating and with burial in Southside Cemetery. The body is at Pugh Troy Funeral Home, where the family will see friends 7-9 p.m. today.
Survivors are son, James F. Smitherman of Troy; daughters, Mrs. Charles H. Manning of Troy and Mrs. Walter L. Smith of Charlotte; sisters, Mrs. S. J. Smitherman and Mrs. W. T. Harris of Troy.
Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church.
