Funeral services for Enie
Smitherman, 87, of 602 Sixth St., SW, will be held Sunday at 2:30 p.m.
at Mount Carmel Church in Chilton County. Burial will be in the
adjoining cemetery, Johns-Ridout's Elmwood Chapel directing. The Rev.
E. L. Creel will officate.
Mr. Smitherman was a native of Chilton County, and had been a resident of Birmingham since 1945. He was a retired railroad clerk.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Ada Minor Smitherman and five nephews.
