Eunice Mae Burnett Smitherman, 85, of Groves died Dec. 3 at her residence.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. today at Gipson-Hunter-Metcalf
Funeral Home in Lufkin with burial at Gann Cemetery.
A native of Canton and a long- time resident of Lufkin, she lived in Groves 11 years.
Survivors include her daughter, Evelyn Burnett Brookshire of Groves; son, Gerald Burnett of Erlanger, Ky.; sisters, Tressie Buschman and LaFarise Miller, both of Lufkin, Bertie Richards of Apple Springs and Stella Standley of Jacksonville; seven grandchildren: 11 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
