EVERETTE SMITHERMAN DIES; BODY GOES TO HIS OLD HOME
Pneumonia was the cause of the death at 12:15 Monday afternoon of Everette Smitherman, 29 years of age, at 2418 San Jose street. The body will be sent to the old home town of the decedent, Liberty Hill, La., on Tuesday.
Mr. Smitherman was unmarried and is survived by his sister, Miss Mary Lou Smitherman, teacher of domestic science in the Ysleta high school, and by his uncle, Rev. I. N. Langston, formerly of the Highland Park Baptist church, now in Y. M. C. A. work at Fort Bliss.
Decedent came here about six years ago for his health and was employed by the Great Western Oil company for a time.
