KERNERSVILLE - Glenna Mae
Wooten Reavis, 78, died Monday, March 7, 2005, at The
Nursing Center at Oak Summit. She was born April 11, 1926, in Lee
County, a
daughter of the late Ellis Reid and Gertha Smitherman Wooten.
Mrs. Reavis was a member of Crews United Methodist Church in
Winston-Salem. She
was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Lee Reavis; a daughter,
Peggy Lee
Hill; a grandson, Donnie Lee Hill, three brothers; and a sister.
Surviving are
three grandchildren, Kim Mindy Elliott and husband Ken, Danny Ray Hill
and wife
Hillary, Steven Albert Hill and wife Amy; eight great-grandchildren;
three
sisters; and many loving nieces and nephews. The funeral service will
be
conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 10, 2005, at Crews United
Methodist Church,
by the Rev. Wanda Ogden and the Rev. Bill Ellison. Burial will follow
in the
church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m.
today, March
9, 2005, at Hayworth Miller-Cain Funeral Home in Kernersville. The
family
requests that memorials be directed to Crews United Methodist Church,

Reidsville Road, Winston-Salem, NC 27101.
