62, a resident of Montgomery, AL, died Saturday, April 29, 1995, in
Montgomery, AL. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 4, 1995,
at 1:00 p.m. from the Verbena Baptist Church with Rev. Lonnie Hollon
officiating. Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery, Jemison, AL, with
Martin Funeral Home directing.
Survivors include her mother, Mrs. Redeemer D. Jones, Wetumpka, AL; four daughters, Mrs. Janice Wilks, Hoover, AL, Mrs. Judy S. Dilday, Mont- gomery, AL, Mrs. Barbara Birt, Mont- gomery, AL and Mrs. A. Laura Mc- Gough, Montgomery, AL; four sons, Mr. Thomas E. Smitherman, Jr., Grand Berry, TX, Mr. J. Eugene Smitherman, Grand Berry, TX, Mr. Kenneth D. Smitherman, Montgomery, AL and Mr. Michael L. Smitherman, Clanton, AL; one sister, Mrs. Ann Bigger, Florala, AL; six brothers, Mr. Clarence Davis, Millbrook, AL, Mr. James Davis, Millbrook, AL, Mr. Sidney Davis, Wetumpka, AL, Mr. Donald Davis, Montgomery, AL, Mr. Thomas Davis, Wetumpka, AL and Mr. Bobby Davis, Montgomery, AL; and 20 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Mr. Herman Hopson Davis.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., at the funeral home.
