Funeral for Henry D. Smitherman,
78, will be Friday at 2:30 p.m. at Crofts Funeral Home in Johnson City,
Rev. Paul Vercher officiating. Burial will be in the Johnson City
Masonic Cemetery.
Smitherman died Wednesday at a Johnson City nursing home. He was a life-long resident of Henly and a deacon of Henly Baptist Church. He was a rancher near Henly.
Survivors include one brother, J. M. Smitherman of Henly; and one sister, Mrs. Annie Mae Harbeson of Austin.
