Jan Elizabeth Smitherman, who had worked for Hertz Rental Cars for several years, died Tuesday at an area hospital. She was 57.
Smitherman was a native and resident of Mobile. Survivors include two children, Karen Michelle McCammon and Alfred E. Smitherman Jr.; and three sisters, Paulette Walsh, Yolanda Quinnelly and Deeanca Webster, all of Mobile; two brothers, Bernard Quinnelly of Lee's Summit, Mo., and Jeffrey Quinnelly of Mobile; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 tonight at Forest Lawn Funeral Home on Celeste Road, where the service is scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday. Burial will follow in Creola Cemetery.
