Jesse Franklin smitherman
Funeral services were conducted
Wednesday, August 1st at Rehobeth Church for Mr. Frank Smitherman by
Rev. Ralph Barnett, Rev. George Vernon, Rev. Byrd Curry, and Rev. J. E.
Lovelady. Frank had been in declining health for several years. He was
laid to rest beneath a blanket of floral offering.
He is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Lillian Johnson and Mrs. Laura Anderson of Birmingham and Mrs. Lum Cleveland of Centreville; two brothers, Mr. Gordon Smitherman and Mr. Morgan Smitherman, both of Lawley and numbers of nieces and nephews to mourn his passing.
Nephews acted as pallbearers. Jack Lee Funeral home in charge.
