lueticia (jones) smitherman
Mrs. Lueticia Smitherman, 87,
died Friday. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, from Lime
Springs Methodist Church, the Rev. Clio Cofer and the Rev. J. J. Smith
officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery, Martin Funeral Home
directing.
Survivors include a son, Sam Smitherman, Childersburg; three daughters, Mrs. Dollie Mae Popwell, Mrs. Maybelle Burnett, and Mrs. Arnie Belle Tyus, all of Clanton; 24 grand children and 35 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were: J. W. and Jeff Smitherman, Jim H. Brown, Billy and James E. Burnett, W. P. Powell. Grand daughters served as flower ladies.
Native of Chilton county, she was a daughter of Augusta Jones and Martha Marcus Jones. He husband was the late Jess Smitherman.
