Funeral services for Mrs. Jess
E. Lewis, mother of Mrs. James R. Strickland and Mrs. Faye S. Chambers,
of Birmingham, will be held here at 3 pm. Saturday. Dr. John Buchanan
will officiate at the services held in Ridout's Chapel. Burial will be
in Elmwood Ceme- tery.
Others surviving are the husband. Jess E. Lewis, New Orleans: one brother, Charles H. Smitherman. Montgomery.
