RIDGELAND-Millie Bostic Smitherman, 73, a homemaker, died of heart failure Friday at her daughter's home in Madison.
Services are at 2 p.m. today at Breeland Funeral Home Chapel in Canton with burial in Jessamine Cemetery. Visitation is noon to- day.
Mrs. Smitherman was a Winfield, Ala., native. She lived in Aberdeen before moving to Ridgeland in 1968. She was a charter member of Grace Chapel Baptist Church in Aberdeen.
Survivors include: sons, Michael Smitherman and Walter Smitherman, both of Jackson, and Melvin Smitherman and Ralph Smitherman, both of Ridgeland; daughters, Sarah Roberson of Jackson and Linda Gaughf of Madison; brother, Lester Bostic of Waycross, Ga.; sisters, Hattie Davis of Jackson and Robbie Gillstrap of Winfield, Ala.; and eight grandchildren.
