Sheila Dianne Smitherman, 60, of
Panama City, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 4,
2025. Born on June 8, 1965, she was a devoted and loving presence in
the lives of all who knew her.
Sheila cherished her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren with all her heart. Nothing brought her more joy than spending time with her family. She also enjoyed the simple pleasures of life—especially playing bingo, hunting for treasures at yard sales, and sharing laughter with those she loved.
Sheila is preceded in death by her mother, Shirley Smitherman and husband Elzie; father, Harry Robinson; brother, Elbert Robinson; sisters, Sarah Gail Cleckley and Rebecca Lawley; granddaughter, Hope Faye Smitherman.
Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, William Robinson (Jody), Eric Smitherman, and Shawn Smitherman (Candace); grandchildren, Alex Robinson, Allen Robinson (Halyleigh), Dean, Kami, Serenity, and Adaylnn; great grandchildren, Erza-leigh and Allen, Jr.; sister, Peggy Taylor (Ronnie) and best friend, Sheressa Miller. Along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, December 26, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Heritage Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
