Funeral services were held
Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock at Shady Grove Baptist Church for Mr.
Vonnie Lee Smitherman who died Friday night at Bibb County Hospital,
after an extended illness. The Rev. Latimer officiated. He was 58 years
old.
Among the survivors are two half-sisters, Mrs. Sybil Jackson of Randolph, and Mrs. Sallie Perry of Centreville; two half-brothers, E. G. Smitherman of Montevallo and M. C. Smitherman of Drumright, Oklahoma.
Jack Lee Funeral Home was in charge of interment in the Church cemetery.
