The funeral of Mrs. Wendy Lynn
Mayrand Smitherman, 30, of 730 Dundee Street, wife of Bernard (Buddy)
Smitherman, will be held at 9 a.m. Wednesday at Voglers Chapel by the
Rev. Malcolm P. Anderton. A graveside service will be at 5 p.m. at Nick
Fountain Cemetery near Richlands.
Mrs. Smitherman was killed about 5 a.m. Sunday when the car she was driving careened over an embankment in Yadkin County and crashed into a culvert. She was traveling alone.
