Mr. William Plint Taylor, 71, Rt. 7, (Eisenhour St.), died Friday morning at his home.
He was born in Yadkin County on December 7, 1917 to William M. and Naomi Davis Taylor.
He was a member of Yadkinville United Methodist Church and was married to Sallie Smitherman Taylor, who survives of the home. Also surviving are one daughter-in-law, Sue Taylor, Yadkinville and two granddaughters, Billie S. Taylor, Kernersville and Mrs. Beth T. Brown, Statesville.
A son, William H. Taylor, preceded him in death in 1984.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Mackie-Gentry Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. David Huff- stetler and Rev. Richard Eskew. Burial will follow in Yadkin Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. tonight at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Yadkin County Hospice, P.O. Box 457, Yadkinville, N.C., 27055.
