Winona Smitherman, 68, of 506 Madonna died Saturday, June 11, 1994, at St. Bernards Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro.
She was born Jan. 28, 1926, in Cave City. She was a retired nurse's aide and a member of First Free Will Baptist Church in Paragould.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ples and Viola Crow Mobley.
Survivors include her husband, James K. Smitherman of Paragould; two daughters, Brenda Branham of Ypsilanti, Mich., and Beverly Smitherman of Redford Township, Mich.; a son, James Edwin Smitherman of Westland, Mich.; a brother, Thomas Mobley of Walnut Ridge; a sister, Gladys Oleva Horner of Jonesboro; and two grandsons, Johnny Wayne Branham of Clinchco, Va., and Jamie Branham of Miami, Fla.
The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. today at Heath Funeral Home in Paragould with the Rev. Conie Gibson officiating. Burial will be at Leachville Cemetery in Leachville.
