JONESVILLE - Mrs. Grace
Smitherman Hutchens, 54, Rt. 1, died Saturday evening at her home. She
was born in Yadkin County to Marshall Ray and Lucy Ray Smitherman. She
was a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church. She was married to Harold
Ray Hutchens, who died October 17, 1978.
Surviving are her parents, Rt. 1, East Bend; three sons, Danny Harold Hutchens, Rt. 1, Jonesville, Timothy Lee Hutchens, Boonville and Terry Ray Hutchens, of the home; three sisters, Mrs. Libby S. Bryant, Boonville, Mrs. Cathy S. Myers and Mrs. Betty S. Myers, both of Rt. 1, East Bend and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Mackie-Gentry Chapel in Yadkinville by the Rev. Don Hudson and the Rev. Eddie Shoemake. Burial will follow in Union Grove Baptist Church cem- etery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 .m. tonight at the funeral home. The family requests that memorials be made to the Amercian Cancer Society.
