EAST BEND - Mr. John T. Binkley,
84, of Rt. 2, East Bend, died Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Pellcare Nursing
Home. Funeral services will be con- ducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at
Baltimore United Methodist Church by the Rev. George Dalton.
Mr. Binkley was born in Yadkin County to Dalton and Bettie Carter Binkley. He was a member of Baltimore United Methodist Church and was a retired farmer. His wife, Sally Smitherman Binkley, died in July, 1961.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Ruby Norwich of Rt. 2, East Bend and Mrs. Freida Ellis of Winston-Salem; two sons, Charlie Frank Binkley and T.S. (Bud) Binkley, both of Rt. 2, East Bend; one sister, Mrs. Saphronia Hennings of Rt. 2, East Bend; ten grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
The family will be at Mackie- Gentry Funeral Home in Yadkinville from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.
