Our town was saddened last
Friday when the sweet spirit of Mrs. Noah Foshee passed from this world
of sorrow to a better home above.
Mrs. Foshee had been in feeble health a long while, but bore her suffering with great fortitude. Possessed of a gentle and lovable disposition she numbered her friends by her acquaintances.
She was about 65 years of age and was the widow of the late Noah Foshee and a sister of Mr. Ed Smitherman of Clanton.
The remains were laid to rest in the cemetery here to await the resurrection morn. The sympathies of the entire town are with the bereaved ones in their great affliction.
