Waneta Anice Smitherman Allison, 74, of Mooresville, died early this morning, Aug. 3, 1996, at her son's home in Avon.
Born March 10, 1922, in Hendricks County, she was the daughter of Henry Wilson and Iva Anice Hite Smitherman, who are deceased. She married William Gerald Allison June 20, 1948. He died April 24, 1995.
Mrs. Allison was a graduate of Cen- tral Beauty College and a self-em- ployed beauty operator for several years.
She was a member of the Mooresville Friends Meeting and the Mooresville Order of the Eastern Star 260.
Survivors include three sons, Gary D. Allison of Indianapolis, Gary Wayne Allison of Mooresville and Tony E. Allison of Avon, and six grandchildren.
Two brothers, William and Wendell Smitherman, preceded her in death.
Her service will be 10 a.m. Mon- day at Mooresville Friends Meeting. The Rev. Dan Smetzer will officiate. Burial will be in White Lick Cem- etery at Mooresville.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Carlisle & Son Funeral Chapel in Mooresville.
