MOODY L. SMITHERMAN, 64, of Birmingham, died Friday. He was a native of Bibb County and a resident of Birmingham for 43 years.
He was employed in Birmingham and Alabama for many years, serving handicapped people with artifical limbs and braces. He was president of Smitherman's Inc. He was a Mason and a member of Valleydale Baptist Church.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. today at Johns-Ridout's, with burial at 4 p.m. in Shady Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Randolph.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Willie Mae Smitherman; three sons, M.L. Smitherman, Bobby Joe and Willis H. Smitherman, all of Birmingham, and a sister, Mrs. Cleo Mathis, Palmerdale.
