Tennie Mae Smitherman, 86, of
East Bend, widow of Carlie N. Smitherman, died yesterday at Forsyth
Memorial Hospital in Winston-Salem. The funeral will be at 3 p.m.
Tuesday at Huff Funeral Chapel.
Mrs. Smitherman was born in Yadkin County and was a member of East Bend Friends Church.
Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. R. S. Joyner of Pfafftown, Mrs. Nelson Dinkins of Yadkin- ville, Rt. 2, Mrs. Edna Baker of Winston-Salem, Rt. 7. Mrs. C. S. Key Jr. of Greensboro, Mrs. Truman Stone of North Wilkesboro; two sons, C. J. (Buck) Smitherman of Rural Hall, Guy V. (Chief) Smitherman of East Bend.
